Hi Lads,

Just wondering what peoples opinions are on these? When you don't have time to build a website for a .com you have would they be ok? Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks

I usually use a pre-made layout, and then if I'm in a rush, grab one and use it, and then throw a dash of colour/design into it.

Well I was kinda talking the whole shebang, like the back end too and what not, but maybe I should finally just learn joomla and do the back end myself!

cmsms ... install 1 hour max ... template ... and away you go.

Joomla does have nicer templates ... but cmsms very easy to template and pull in other designs into

Joomla can be a bitch to template yourself, fut for only a few €€€'s you can buy some really nice templates. cmsMS, as already stated is much easier to customize and template, and is simple to use also.

If there was a template that you had(like those from OpenSourceWebDesign), it would be much easier to put it into cmsMS than Joomla.

I think, for once, both me and Forbairt agree on a CMS.(CMSMadeSimple)

It depends on how you work, some people have 100s of domains to fill up, and they don't have time or the money to hire people to build them real websites. On the other hand some people like to build the site themselves, and like to work only on one website.

For a good starting points and different variations with Joomla templates I like to use rocketthme templates. About €50 for all their current templates and 12 new ones.

They have rockettheme launcher which means you get exactly the same site as the template content and all modules. A full site in a matter of half an hour with uploading then you can edit away

And there also working on Phpbb 3 templates to blend in with their existing templates
