Thread: Another Newbie!

Hi,

I have just joined today too. I am co-Administrator of a fans website for music band, Take That.

We created a information website with an accompanying discussion forum back in January of this year and have basically learned everything from scratch. I always find these kinds of discussion forums great for sharing ideas and helping each other out with any problems that might arise in the running of websites and forums, so it's good to be a member on here.

Welcome to the site ... it looks slightly too far down the page on FF3 on the mac to me. Something to do with your fixed height for the #page no doubt.

from one newbie to another!

Hey everyone and great to find you all..

Straight in with a Q - I work in IT but have NO web development experience and a buddy has asked me about designing a site on Godaddy - Cost wise it seems pretty favourable - anyone have any experience/opinion on the +'s or -'s of this or any other recommendation...??

godaddy appears to be one of the most popular hosting companies around. Depends if you need them or not, I am with one of their rivals
