Thread: working on the bank holiday ?

Well seeing as it's not a bank holiday here in Germany, I am working, but to make up for it I am taking Friday off (travelling to barcamp).

So are you working today ?

The people who want that no.1 spot are working today - and never sleep

Office is open today. We rarely take the Irish Bank Holidays off.

A late start, but yes....doing a bit today.

I'm not really working today. Other people are ..

I'm supposed to be off but as I am in the North at the mo I've decided to work as normal.

I dont know if it counts as work, but still replied to work related emails today. That said I do that at the weekends and at odd hours during the week

checked some emails ... didn't respond actively unless urgent ...

Did some work this afternoon / evening .... (ecommerce shop had its first sale even though its not live yet ... people sending around links to friends and so on)

Went to see "Fly me to the moon" in 3D this morning in cineworld .. was fun

I rarely take time off though .. need to change that (saturdays / sundays)

I work weekends and bank holidays because if I didn't there would be beans on the table and not turkey!
