Google's new adplanner... Just got its public release as a beta. It allows you to see loads of information about various other sites. And after reading around it would appear to be scarily accurate according to some.

I know! I might have to block it for myself in work just so I don't have another afternoon wasted like yesterday!

I had a quick look last week at it and found the stats from it a bit poor, unfortunately.

When I had a go looking for high traffic sites in Ireland, Daft.ie was absolutely nowhere and it had overestimated traffic on some of my own sites - least i'm honest ;-) about it.

However, when they do get going it should make for interesting times. Comscore - to some - is the be all and end all of media planning, but their methodology is well out of date, especially for the Irish market, and it's darned expensive too.
