I have always been a big fan of Tutorial9.net and all the good stuff that David Leggett and the team does over there.(Put him top of my list of places to get design inspiration - 10 Places to get Design Inspiration.. The NetFlow) However now, they've gone and become that little bit more godlike in my eyes with the Gift of Knowledge Giveaway. The idea is simple enough, you write a guest post and if its good enough, they'll post it and donate $100 to charity!

Now, I'm a bit cynical in these situations - aren't they really just looking for impressions by using other people work and hiding behind a good cause? But I don't care. It is a good cause, and a nice way for everyone to benefit! You get a chance to win prizes, gain a little traffic for yourself and help your karma this christmas by doing something that most of you do anyway!

There are a couple of things you can do - Write a post about the giveaway and comment on this post with a link to it and get a free WP theme. Write an artcile of some sort and enter it here for a chance to win loads of prizes.

I wrote up a little piece about it here too - so hopefully my free theme will be forthcoming. But moreso... feel a little better about myself... in a weird selfish kind of way
