Thumbs up Adwords ip exclusion tool

Just came across an ip exclusion tool when browsing through my Adwords control panel. Seems to be a recent addition. Very useful imo, should help advertisers combat some click fraud.

It could also open up some very interesting possibilities for abuse

Default Found this useful recently

Analysing my database recently, I found the same IP number group coming up via adwords. Sometimes 3 times a day, and most days. Reverse IP showed it to be an Ip allocated to IBM in UK. Crazy since my adverts were targeted to areas in Ireland.
So first I IP blocked them.
Second, I complained to Google and eventually they credited me with about €60.
In case anyone has been the target of these same people, the IP group was 195.212.29.*

Conor, that could have been IBM Ireland. They are a huge computer company and can get assigned IP addresses as they want them. I use 3 for my mobile and when I connect to the internet on it I am on a UK ip but Im in Ireland. IP addresses can move, that IP range could be a proxy.

Could be IBM Ireland, but I wasn't happy about them clicking my ads three times a day!
