Question Adwords SMS Alerts
I see that Google have added SMS alerts for Adwords users.

For some odd reason they've omitted 3 customers!

Has anyone used it yet?

If you're on the 3 network you can't signup. The dropdown has Vodafone, O2 and Meteor.

I've used it - I registered for critical alerts only i.e - campaign offline.

If I remember correctly (and I haven't had my coffee yet so that's a big 'if') you can choose the times of day that they can send you text alerts. So you shouldn't get a message at 4am telling you that a keyword is inactive for search for example.

I use them to get alerts in the MCC. It's handy all right, but they send an email also. I always seem to be in the pub when I get an alert that I have to go home and enter a backup credit card. Yea right.

I think they are more valuable for time sensitive campaigns and essential 24/7 campaigns.

I've used it, 3am txt that one of my ads got disapproved.

Took a little convincing for the GF to understand it was 'Google', she thought I was joking...."but why would they be texting you" ha
