Anyone know of a good up to date tutorial from a client POV?

I'm looking for something like a check-list the client can use to help ensure their campaign is being run properly, came across AKAs' but it's a bit too detailed and a little out of date.....

I think all of the tutorials out there are a bit too much and technical for a beginner (client).
There are tons of books that tell you this and that, but mostly is achieved through experience, trial and error.

Looking at Google way of creating an AdWords campaign. Google rewards quality but at the same time allows "quantity" as well, as it brings more money into its own pocket.

A good quality ad copy, the right keywords and landing page will cost less CPC, have a higher CTR and position rank, while the other way around, will cost more as CPC and to get a higher position the bid has to be high as well.
