Me too. I recently looked at a campaign where they were spending hundreds a month linking to a page that didn't exist and were none the wiser. The agency obviously didn't care either.
I keep coming across really silly examples of adwords mismanagement.
The anti-Lisbon treaty lot seem to have forgotten to disable their PPC campaign! It's not as if they didn't know when the referendum was being held!

The non-existent page one I've seen a few times.
I've also seen the "lovely" redirector that's broken ie. click on link and get a server error of some kind
From an agency point of view its difficult to monitor if a client doesn't use proper 404's for broken pages. I've seen this so many times its ridiculous.
Adwords will pause ads if the Google Adwords Spider encounters a 404, if it doesn't it won't be able to tell the difference.
Setting an end date to a campaign is a no-brainer though.
I wish these people with money to burn would send some my way though.
You know I’m thinking it could be corruption, if a big company hires a nobody to do a job that is somewhat expensive, they could justify spending that are really not happening huh?
