Does any one really know when google is due to do a page rank? Well I have checked that it takes 3-6mts can any one clarify this rumor. Also how important is backlinks is quantity better then quality? Ah ha now I can tell you, as I have done a back link check on two Irish Adult Sites, one is kinky.ie the other is Adult Store.ie - Sex toys and adult dvds. Adult store in Ireland. - the first kinky,ie has about 10,000 links where adultstore.ie has just over 200 both have a page rank of 3. Interesting don't you think. Can any one shed some light on this?

Having a seo-section in a froum means always wild specualtions about PR.
I am for 10 years in the SEO business (still sane ;-) and these predictions are as precise than predicting the numbers of the next lottery . But it is still fun, though!
Google will know when.
The last year it usually took between 3-6 months for big PR-updates (well at least for those visible via toolbar), small updates are made throughout. But, this might also change from region to region. for german websites we had an update in January.

Is this quality, quantity question to be percieved as rethoric???
Ask 10 SEO and you will get various answers. I usually go for quality, but I don't do adult websites.

Hi all this site Adult Store.ie - Sex toys and adult dvds. Sex shop and Adult store in had a page rank of 3 last week. When I checked on it today it has a page rank of zero. Any one know why and how did this happen so fast. Did google do there pr update and why such as drastic drop? Any information would be a great help. No changes had been made to the site only a few more quality links were added.?????

Any explanation why our site droped from 3 to zero , why would this be? Do I need now to add another 500 back links or more to get back up the rankings? Or have we been black listed for some strange reason? All we have done is added more links?? Any ideas??? Also will this affect our rankings in the search engines???

I wouldnt worry about the PR drop, your still ranking for your keywords like "sex toys"

Getting your sites listed in Google for the keywords you have targeted is much important than getting PR 8 .

Are you sure? I taught that is how you get your pr, from backlinks?
