Hi,
In Google webmaster, I see on the summary page that Googlebot last visited my site on 25 july. However in crawl stats is showing up a 9 per day?

Whats the key difference here?

There is probably a difference in checking if a page exists (checks header, load time, page size, etc), and actually going through the content with a view to indexing it.

Simple answer - GWT is not a reliable source for this data. They just dont update the console enough.
