iPhone Vs Palm Pre

I'm finally eligible for an upgrade again with O2, so in the next month or so I want to upgrade from my current Nokia E51.

I've decided I want a touchscreen smart-phone.

So, iPhone 3G S, or Palm Pre? What do you think?

Anyone even know if the Pre will be available on O2?

Friend of mine had an iPhone and had to get a palm something or other for work - it lasted about a week. He went back to the iphone. I wouldn't use a SmartPhone or Nokia O/S again unless it was remarkably better (i.e. like an iphone)

Know this is probably a dead thread now, but I know a friend who changed from iPhone to Nokia 5800 and no looking back, so much so that I bought one, and I love it.

Besides does O2 not just say you are entitled to an upgrade when they have too many phones in stock
