Just to add, we have 24/7 livechat all over the site at Register365, as well as email tickets manned 24/7 around the clock. The freephone number is Mon-Fri 0900-1730 but support is round the clock.

If you have a server Ken, you do actually have 24/7 phone support also, direct to the NOC.

I appreciate the help thanks, but the problem sorted itself out eventually.

On reflection it's probably not wise to express a gripe about your hosting partner on a public forum so it's not something I would necessarily do again. The H365 service I'm using is absolutely spot on 9.999% of the time. It's just a little scary when something goes down and there's nothing you can do about it because everyone's gone home for the evening. Failing to contact H365, my only recourse was to post here and see if anyone else was experiencing the same problem. It was a temporary glitch with the database server for a few hours it would seem. Otherwise the service has been absolutely fine (bar one or two other slight hiccups ).

Griping about providers is ok if they aren't being responsive. The problem on the Irish forums in the past is that the gripe from one client has led to an entire spamfest from the other providers, which is something I'd rather not have on here (I'm thinking of setting up a different forum specifically to allow whoring and bitching ...)
