I take this back
Yahoo take the biscuit. and charge too much and have brutal tech assistance - and when you do get assistance - they haven't a clue, and will send you FAQ detail which they copy and paste and do not read the question you are asking - and this can take days between corresponsence!
.htaccess file not allowed (not good for SEO, then)
php mail ( ) limit to 250 emails per day.
and yahoo mail limit to 100 emails per hour - not good if you have a newsletter with a few hundred (or more) subscribers.
So I take back my recommendation for Yahoo (the worl'd 4th largest hosting company - read that somewhere yesterday)

LOL, I was responding to the original posters request by demonstrating an Irish hosting company that met or exceeded his requirements for a modest annual cost

Well, Operated by an Irish Limited company with servers in Ireland, on Irish IP addresses. What else would you call Register365 - Ireland's Domain Registry - other than the largest Irish hosting company? For all we know, Blacknight is part owned by Sicilian mafia, doesn't make you any less Irish That's like saying Eircom aren't an Irish Telco.
