I refuse to pay thru the nose for such things, so any pointers to something in same price ballpark & reliable would be appreciated.

What are you actually looking for?

ie. how much disk space etc., ?

Hi Michele

I am looking for maybe a gig diskspace tops, with at the very most 2 Gigs of download per month (I know I will use a lot less, so 2 gigs seems adequate).

I need the hosting just for some simple poster sites, my web-biz site and maybe I'll move my irish poker site over (wpress&vbulletin) to see if I can sneak into top spot on G by moving to .ie IP Space. I need to be able to modify .htaccess etc but don't require shell access or anything fancy

Cheers
Niall

Well if you're only planning on running a few sites on it then the entry level or mid-level plans from most of the Irish hosting providers would probably do the job. Unless you're planning on reselling space you don't really need a reseller hosting plan

Was gonna say earlier the entry level irish hosting sounds like it'd be enough ... only it doesn't give you plesk ...

From the sounds of it though you wouldn't really need it for what you're currently doing ?
