Thread: Hosting Problems?

Can anyone help me, my site seems to be going down a lot recently....is there any problems with some Irish Hosts at the moment?

How often would you expect your site to go down on average?

All hosts have problems with servers from time to time, but without any concrete details it would be hard to give you any meaningful answer.

What details to you need? It's went down about 5 times today..nobody can access the website, cpanel, admin etc...it's as if I don't have a site...(or email)

Could be your site was hacked ... could be DNS issues ... could be server outage ... could be a donkey kicked someone in the head

mmm..Industrial Espionage...doubt cpw are that worried yet...

The site keeps disappearing.....last time I called the host they said they were under attack and started to explain about a skinny pipe with a lot of requests....

How do I know if someone is hacking it....How much damage could they do.....it's doing my head in....

that was last weeks excuse, it was down for a day...not sure what the one tomorrow is...

it's gone down about 10 times in the last hour...

If the hosting provider cannot give a clear answer then maybe it's time to look at other options.

If the server the site is hosted on is having issues they should be in a position to tell you as much

If it's your site that's causing the issues then they should know
