I'm 19 with no experience in running a successful business.

But we all have to start somewhere, right?

I don't believe it takes degrees and a bulging CV to make it online. In fact, i KNOW it doesn't.

It takes a good unique idea, dedication and persistence - i feel i have all 3.

@figment, i know €1500 isn't a lot to build and develop a site, like i said originally, i want to quicken things up, hence why i'm here looking for a partner. If i had a blank chequebook, i'd go it alone as the risk is worth it.

Actually it takes 2. An idea does not have to be unique it just has to be implemented and marketed better. At least if someone has tried the idea before you know if there is a market for it. If its a new idea that no one has tried before then you need to ask why not?

due to my age and the times i live in, i've spotted this niche. Why hasn't it been tried? I can't answer that, but i'm not prepared to hang about trying to find answers - the site is legal and unique which is good enough for me.

Older people mightn't see it, and perhaps they'd frown on it. However the market is definitely there, i'm sure of that

The site WILL go ahead.. the domain is with me and the plans are with me. No amount of questions, criticism or doubt will put me off this idea

Well that is good because our questions are nothing compared to what you will get bringing it to market
Also i don't think anyone has criticised. Just asked some pretty basic questions.

I refuse to think like an Irish person and analyse this idea until I convince myself it's a dud.

I have an idea, and a gut feeling, so i'm acting on it. Success or failure, i'll accept everything which comes with it.

Simple as that, lets not over complicate matters. I'm creating a unique service with zero competition which i believe will be used by a large group of people.

Thats fair enough. We have all gone with our gut from time to time. However your problem is that you need to convince someone to spend a lot of money, time and resources in your idea and so for them you need data.

Also a big question with "unique" is do you need to convince users on why they need it and train them on how to use it?

Its not Irish, its experience and common sense. You seem to be taking questions as criticism of an idea you have not even explained. Not a good start.

...your first challenge is going to be convincing a designer and/or developer who can pull the job off to commit themselves, not knowing what the plan is!
