I've quite a few small businesses without websites submitting their details to Dublinbynumbers - Dublin's Directory and Guide - gyms, doctors, hotels, creches... and I thought I might look into into partnering/affiliating with some web designer/s out there... any interest?

i.e. I'd put customers your way for a percentage..

Very good idea. If I had more time I'd take you up on it. Or maybe if you had a few big fishes and a couple of small fry like me to cover those that the big fish thought were too small? hmmm... Very interesting!
