    Hi Zascar,

    [replacer_a] There’s a few things you could do yourself as it could work out expensive getting someone to it for you. Even if you only spent a half hour every night doing one of the following below. It can take time for your Dad‘s sites to run up to the top of googles listings or it could happen in less. Depends really, but try these;

    Fist list your sites on the three big guns;
    Google: SEO:
    Yahoo:
    http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

    Bing (aka MSN):
    http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit (note: it takes ages so submit and forget about them)
    Get google to place a Map to your Dad’s business;
    http://www.bing.com/docs/submit.aspx

    Use this tool to see how your Dad’s site looks to the search engines (as in, what they can read) it has other features there too;
    www.Google.com/LocalBusinessCenter

    Also read this article, it’s a copy of an article that’s going around a while but the information it good. More of the same from above;

    Adwords:
    The best thing to do here is to sit down over a few nights and give yourself, say €10 per day spending limit. Set up an advertisement and aim it at your target country or county. Use the key words you think draws people to your Dad’s company (no one knows your company better than yourselves) See which words are working the best and leading to conversions (sales first then site hits don’t forget to see what pages they are reading). Remember to check the other words people came to your site with in combination with your choice of key word and see if they are relevant

    Example:
    Your selling tooth brushes, so one of your key words will be ‘brushes’ of course. But someone comes to your site after clicking on your advertisement and they had searched for ‘hair brushes’. Not the kind of guy you want and you’ve just wasted a few pence. So you put the word ‘hair’ as a negative word. So on and so forth.

    Simply, play with ad-words and read googles help topics. Check out what your competitors key words are and how they are rated. There’s sites out there that will help with what your competitors key words are and google has great tips also.

    Have fun
