Whats reasonable ?

Viking Direct is where I buy various bits and bobs from time to time (then I sit back and wait for the spam of catalogs / specials and so on ... god how I wish they'd stop sending those catalogs)

Buying 1 costs 5.49 each

Buying 50 costs 3.49 each

Given the size I'd assume you'd buy in semi bulk ?

What gsm ye looking for ?

(also please note I've not bought their recycled paper before but thanks for reminding me have to source a local printer doing recycled paper for a green party thing ... and need to buy some as I'm out)

I'd probably buy 50 reams - it's worth the saving

the 80gsm stuff may not be the greatest ... depends what ye are using it for.

When I'm buying again I'll go with 100gsm stuff

(unfortunately / fortunately I live in pretty much a paper free office) so 1 ream does me months

It's mostly for printouts of invoices and faxes etc.,

it's not being sent to 3rd parties (most of the time anyway)

I do print out our invoices on 100gsm (and the handouts when I am giving courses - people DO recognize the difference),
Our main supplier is viking direct... Ain't Europe small ;-)

I managed to get them from our local supplier at the same price as I would have paid Viking, so I'm happy

I used to buy from tesco until they got expensive with their stationery. i tend to purchase from another local store because I do business with them in other areas. I usually buy 80gsm for the ordinary daily chip off the block stuff, but for letters and other special things, I usually go for better paper, 100gsm, or even 160gsm for card paper.

believe it or not, the difference between 80gsm and 100gsm is noticed by many people... I've started sending out the minutes for a monthly meeting on 100gsm paper rather than 80gsm, and many have noticed it...
