| No is not. Is dedicated to Pioneer->ipod only. If you want to connect a different mp3 player to your Pioneer head unit you will need this part: PC7-101 Ipod & MP3 Player Adaptors To Pioneer | Autoleads | MP3 / AUX Adaptors | Car Audio | Car Audio, New Used Cars @ Besecure2000.ie | and also this part: PC7-200 Autoleads Phono To 3.5mm Jack Lead | Autoleads | iPod & MP3 Accessories | Car Audio | Car Audio, New Used Cars @ Besecure2000.ie |

| Yes they are because the P from P55BT stands for Port (cd changer) The cables are using the changer port to give you an Aux-In connection. |

| So I need both parts?? And then I can get some friendly person to shove them into the car?

| Yes indeed. The first part is the trick the head unit into having a cd changer attached, in your case a portable MP3 player. The second lead id from the MP3 player jack plug to the first part to transfer the sound to the haed unit. |
