Not a 'very' bad idea, has some merit. But the execution is dreadful. The site is extremely frustrating to use. The graphics are unrecognisable until they are almost gone past, and even then they are jumpy and blurry. Very poor. And when I clicked on an ad, because I had pop-ups disabled, I got a pop-up error message from Firefox.

All-in-all, can't see it being a success to be honest.

Using flash is a downfall of the site but there is no other logical way to implement it.

He seems to be making a few bucks from it so all power to him. I'll give it 6 months.

Pretty cool idea, I think it will work at least for the short term, which is all that will matter to the site owner. Although the pop ups being blocked are a big downside to it.
