For online PR, I'd use the likes of PRweb.com , at least then your press release has a good chance of being picked up by google news etc.

Hi Blacknight and everyone, just wondering did you use PRweb.com and are they any use?

I want to get my site in to traditional media in the states etc and was wondering if you would recommend them or not.

hmmm, that sounds tricky and vast considering my audience. I might try prweb and hope that some of the content is picked up by various bloggers/column writers.

Did you have a press release put together by someone locally or did you use their writing service?
