| Hi all, I designed and administrate a website for a sports league in munster. We currently average just over 1200 page views per day. The committee running the league has asked me to see if I can get a company to sponsor the upkeep of the website, the audience is quite targetted and covers a large area. My question is: 1. Who should I approach for sponsorship? Sports related companies or large local companies, car dealers etc. ? 2. How should I approach them ? Via email, direct mail, telephone ? 3. how much can i expect to make say for a season sponsorship (1 year) I have see figures quoting c. €5 per 1,000 impressions 4. Should I look at google adsense or doubleclick ads instead ? Any help would be gratefull appreciated. |

| What would you want the sponsorship to cover?

| Basically the league has a main sponsor covering all the league both adult and youths. I would like a "website" sponsor, who would have a banner across the top of all pages, perhaps including a page listing all about sponsor and/or products and services |

| Why not put up adsense in the meantime, it won't make a fortune, but it is easy to set up.
