I downloaded the trial for a play around looks like nice software the rank tracker took some optimizing to work enabling "Human Emulation" options and a few proxys solved the problem (getting banned from search engines for too many queries)
Now the i done a quick search for grivances that other customers may have found this why-seo-powersuite-software-by-link-assistant-is-not-the-best-search-engine-optimisation-software-review
It seems you purchase the software with bugs- updates and etc for life but if you want to use the software after 6 months you will need to pay again for the privilege seems under handed to me and i see up-front clear message of this on the link-assistant site and there is some great reviews too.
So is there anyone out there who has being using this software who could share their experiences....

LinkAssistant, the reports are exceptional and I have the Pro edition and have customised the reports. But oh how I hate the sucker punch! My logo is there, my colours are there and how I would impres me friends - except I can't. You show us the candy, but we have to pay more for it!! As I said, a sucker punch.
As for the CAPTCHA payments, Ive stopped those elements of SEO powersuite as I do not want to give you all of my money.

If you google "[insert the name of the tool] is scam", you'll see plenty of relevant search results. Why? Because no SEO software is perfect for everybody. There is always something...
See, the reason we even have a Live!Plan is because we take the accuracy of SEO PowerSuite's results very seriously. That's why the 750 SEs we support are monitored 24/7. Whenever an algo changes, we try to update our software the same day! I guess there's no need to say it takes quite a few man-hours to do that. And, speaking of why SEO PowerSuite stops performing search engine-related tasks when the Live!Plan expires... Again, this is done to avoid inaccuracies. Imagine that your site is ranking #7 and Rank Tracker tells you that it's ranking #57. Wouldn't make anyone happy, would it?
However, we have recently decided to experiment and will soon enable our users to run SEO PowerSuite even if their Live!Plan has expired. It should take about a month to make all the necessary preparations and finalize the project. The software will then rely on historic data that should be more or less accurate, we'll see how it works out.
