 Yeah, it's several weeks overdue at this point. There's been talk on all the usual forums about how Google are ditching toolbar PR altogether, and one clever ****er posted some nice linkbait about Google's new "Webrank" which includes some sort of quality score, that got people up in arms for a while. | Overdue? I don't think so. Google make no promises as to when they will update their TBPR, if ever. I seriously hope that they remove TBPR this year. |

| I never mentioned promises! It's been 107 days since the last TBPR update. Extrapolating based on a projection of previous updates, this means that it is overdue. You don't need promises to figure that out. Mind you, I'm with you on them getting rid of it altogether. But it's nice marketing tool for them so they probably won't. |

| i cant see them getting rid of it completely, since they're obviously keen on as many users as possible installling their toolbar, and a lot of people would uninstall it if there was no longer any pagerank bar.

| I was just going to post a topic about this today myself. I had largely forgot about it thinking that it would eventually turn up but its been an awful long time now. I know some people think pr is useless but when you are trying to get a new pr0 site off the ground it can really hold you back. |

| I agree that Google will keep the toolbar. Without it is just another toolbar for many internet users, so they might as well make one themselves with conduit.

| I don't think they will remove it either. They'll figure out some way to lower its value in the link market and I suspect this is why they are holding off releasing the public update. |
