Default Yahoo and backlinks

I have just noticed that Yahoo have changed the way they count backlinks. It now knocks the amount of backlinks showing for sites down a huge amount - between 1/2 and 1/3 of previous.

As I don't pay much attention to Yahoo except to query their database I doubt if it will make any difference to much - certainly not to goo SR. But wondering what they have taken out - as before they were the most reliable place to check backlinks.

Any ideas?

Sorry forget it, I queried links in the middle of some sort of update that lasted two days and it is all back to normal.
