I'm trying to find some goog Irish sites to do link exchanges with but its hard to make any headway without buying them which i dont want to do. Any tips on how to go about getting some responses from other Irish sites when looking for links?

Given that you just wrote his name in there, he may find this thread with Google Alerts!

Maybe using a codename like Mutt Catts might throw Google of the scent .

Find the sites you want links from and ask them - it happens all the time - I ask some and have bought only two (they were really cheap and in the area I wanted), and some asked me, as I have a few travel sites; this way as we both know it looks all natural.
