| Hi, First post to site so hello to all. I frequently use the link:www. syntax in google to ascertain backward links (Google's phrase note mine as backward links sounds delinquent). Yet, when I use the link: and then a space and then the www. I get a dfirrent set of results. Any ideas on why this might be? Thanks for any replies. |

| when you use the following syntax: site:www.name.ie or link:www.name.ie google knows you are looking to get the listing for that domain, but if you put a space after the : you get results for every word included in the phrase. look at the way the domain gets highlighted
