Default Analytics - Installing UTM tracking code?

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to set up the utm tracking code to track campaigns in Google? I want to try to track traffic coming from a redirecting url and I read somewhere that you can do it like that....

ou can append the UTM variable to the query string. I'd have to dig into some notes on how exactly it's done, but I suggest you look at how you track links in email campaigns. Should be the same technique.

Beware though - doing this will affect the redirect URL, and therefore the value of the redirected link. If this is an issue then I would sniff for Google et. al. and serve up the tracked redirect conditionally.
