Default Tags and CMS
Have a new resource site with a CMS in place - everytime i log in as administrator a wee box appears with a text bar for Keywords and one for description - you fill it out for each page. Does this help optimise the site....what are the key areas I should be looking at - what should i be doing bearing in mind the site is up 3 days...

Send a message via ICQ to blacknight Send a message via AIM to blacknight Send a message via MSN to blacknight

You probably want to look into metatags

You'll find that:
  • they don't really help a lot with SEO
  • they don't hurt
  • they can help with how your site is displayed in search engine results

dont i know it...its like doing everything by hand....but theres a few people willing to help out and a little bit everyday...consistency will hopefully get me over the hump
