| I think that you may well find you get zero traffic from Google. The no cache tag *may* have the effect of giving Google no confidence that the page can be served. I haven't come across it personally but I have seen others comment on these effects. Why do you want no cache?

| Isnt the no cache tag to stop browsers from placing the page into the Temp Internet files (although this is not supported by all browsers) and noarchive tag to stop the Search Engine from caching the page? I do see a site sitting in the top 5 on Google that uses the pragma no cache tag and "Cache-Control" content="no-cache" tag. |

| If I was to take a guess I'd say google might not rank these sites as setting no pragma is usually done by web applications - which they may not want to index. des |

| I am with you on that one. Although I have never used the tag myself if I was I would test it on an non-important site. |
