Might be something to do with whats going on at Google ATM.
redcardinal has a pretty gay post on it over on his blog.

I am active in about 20 different DP threads on this also. Mixed opinions, but the majority are happy. (Including myself).

Those threads are usually funny when Google decides on an update. I am also happy...for now.

Keep an eye on the 007 site and see if the position sticks. Richard and myself discussed this before where a new site will rank well then Google will drop it like a brick until it gains more trust. The discussion took place when I launched SEO Ireland and I waited for the sandbox but it didnt seem to occur. I actually out rank Google Ireland for some keywords which is cool but I appear nowhere for the term SEO Ireland although it would help if I actually promoted the term

I had a site that did something similar when it was launched first.
football stuff, football toys, football games, soccer video games

It was averaging around 300 unique visits a day while google scoured through the site and gave it very high rankings.

This unfortunately disappeared after about 2 weeks and now, its hardly ranked at all.
