Hi,

Has anybody else use Brad Callen's tatics for SEO. I have been using myself now for a couple of months with reasonable results on a couple of sites.

If your reading through the ebook you'll notice he's trying to sell his software. "Well he has to make a buck" but there's some good stuff in there with examples. excellent for somebody starting off in SEO

$160 is a bit pricy for a single website, however, good value if you have a few sites. I bought the software just before Christmas, I was able to set up 50 reciprocal in under an hour, and that was to sites with a PR3 and above.

I suppose it depends on how much the site is worth to you in terms of revenue.

If a site was bringing in say €50 / month without any SEO tweaking and you could get it up to €100 / month the outlay of €150 would pay for itself very quickly

Yes I agree, what sold it to me was the time saving, have a look at this video http://www.seoelite.com/Videos/Video1/linkpartners.html . I am probably too lazy to go trolling through search engines looking for links, also this is the only feature I've used on it.

Interesting features and unlike some of the junk I've seen it actually gets you to submit the link etc., via a form.

Only problem is that it's windows only

I bought and have been using SEO Elite. Nice little tool. The ebook is really excellent too.

What's really good about it is that it tells you the key sites in your niche - the sites that are the basis for your keyword competition's success. Its very time-consuming trying to get this information through other means. Once you have that information then you can set out on a normal sort of offline pr campaign. I don't put much credence in the submission through a form. In my experience, the highest quality links (which seems to be even more important since the last google update) come from building relationships with other website owners. Its only really through very careful emailing will most people consider linking to you.

At $160 its quite expensive -but- if you have a website that is converting customers then it should be able to return the investment pretty quickly. Still lots of hard work involved but it does give you a roadmap you wouldn't have otherwise.
