Hi, I am trying to get a large-ish video to play - I host with hosting365 and the site is .fla enabled..... I used CoffeeCup to design it but it only plays on certain websites and tends not to open on most. Is this a hosting problem? thanks, wildsaffy

| Isn't .fla the source not the export? Shouldn't it be .swf?

sorry - yes - had been googling some help and I thought is was .flv but those are the source files - the output is .swv. However - it plays well on my computer, hosting 365 say they can see it fine but no-one else can!

Want to show us the link and see if it plays for us?

.flv is Flash-encoded video which is good to go for streaming (albeit HTTP streaming).. so the .flv file should be up there. Then you'll most likely need a Flash player for the video (e.g. a .swf file). Flash (as in the application, not the technology) does include player samples, if that's what you've used to encode the .flv. Might be something fairly obvious that we can spot if you want to post a URL.
