Hi,

I am currently updating my site and i am looking for feedback - Your source for online computer training courses and professional development training. - its an online training system. Now i am going to make the nav better and the margins. what do you think.

Also any ideas how i might go about increasing my page rank and traffic.

i have optimized a lot of the pages and realise their a lot still to do.

but your ideas would be much appreciated.

Seriously need traffic.

You can add links to my web directory IrishSat.com SEO Web Diretory - IrishSat Free Open Web Directory

hi fergald,

You may want to aviod the use of pop-up windows for you help section and web tools pages. If you had all this content on your main site it would increase the range of search phrases by which your site may be found.

I would also replace the 'contact us' email link with a contact page, as the site visitors may not have an email client running.

If it's a new site and you want to optimise it from the begining I would also look at using mod rewrite to serve your php pages as .html. Some people would argue it doesn't make any odds, but in my experience it does improve SE placement.

its a bit dull. If your aiming for beginner training it needs to be clear and bright and bullet point what your offering on the home page. People can then see at a glance. When looking for online training stuff you get alot of results in a search engine, people are going to very quickly scan through the results.

The course content is good.

Im speaking from someone who has done alot of online training searches lately particularily in php & html.

Become a partner with learningsteps.com link has horrible frames for me.

The "Internet Resources" link is a bit messed up too.

don't mean to be harsh, but that looks a very amateur website, it's ugly, colours are dull, and made me want to close that window down fast. It just doesn't say professional to me at all.
