Not really the way I would design a website. There is something about the layout which makes me not trust the site. Kind of reminds me of this: Allirishlinks.com - Jobs,Mobile,Holiday,Cheap Flights,Sport,News,Freemail,Ireland,firstpage.ie

Seems a bit old fashioned too...

I'm a big fan of minimalist stuff though (Staff.ie - Irish Jobs and Jobs in Ireland, Dole.ie - Every job from every job website, Tempjobs.ie - Temp jobs, temping, temporary jobs, Jobseeker - Jobs) so I have a tendency to dislike websites with a lot of action.

Good luck with it though.

You should also be careful with spelling and punctuation:

I would recommend getting to grips with Web standards. The markup is a mess.

Margaret, if I were you I'd ask The Design Pool for your money back. I know you probably paid very little for the site but it was too much regardless. The site ignores all the basic tenets of professional web design.

Remember - sometimes the expensive thing is the cheap thing in the long run.

Hmm...I like the header image thats nice, but the layout, seem to be abit like a patch work qullet. Things dont flow into one another. Also the frist thing I noticed as I got onto the site was the large amount of small underlined links in the middle of the page, somthing about it turned me off it. Maybe lose the underline. I also thing you need to repostion some images, like the ad's and that, just align them better. But over all its not a bad site, seems very useful also.

Not bad for an amateur attempt. If top dollar was paid for this site, then it's nothing short of an absolute disgrace. I don't suppose you'd care to tell us how much you paid The Design Pool for the site, Margaret, and how they itemised the bill? I appreciate you probably don't want to do this but there are quite a few professionals here that can tell you what kind of value you got for your money.
