My thoughts ... I hate flash ... hence I don't like your banner ...

I don't like the haze/cloud effect in your banner either ...

The counties listing is a bit hard to read with the bevel effect you have going on. I can't make out Carlow / donegal easily unless I focus a bit ...

similarly I have trouble with the top of the black headers and the white text ...


Not too keen on the final bevel you have in your footer either ...

Your add an ad page ... seems very understyled as well ... given the amount of trouble you've gone to on the other pages ... similarly your contact form needs work ...

FAQ could do with some padding and improvement as well ...
listing of the questions at the top .. jumping down ... padding between the elements .. and so on ...

Funny thing to say TBH. Although I'm assuming what you mean is that you hate the inappropriate use of Flash? You could just as easily say "I hate HTML" because most sites are badly coded... but that would also be silly, no?

As for the eireads site - well it's 2007, you shouldn't be using tables for layout.

Sorry ... probably came out wrong ...

I hate flash used for navigation menus ... (for the most part)

For the most part I hate flash used for informational websites where I want to be able to link to a page directly (I know you can have workarounds)

Nice site, very green. I would not have the google ads skyscraper on the left, but that's just me... (it looks a little spammy).

You've got a broad topic there so it might take some time to get the country educated to come looking throughout your site.

It may be worth going more niche and just picking a few areas to specialise in until you have a solid reliable community. If you already do then please excuse my dribble....

Keep up the good work, it's great to see really attractive sites online
