I know, is very hard for me as well working with an empty database, but it will fill up.
Dublin has 3 listings, and I have sent few emails last night to few dealers to see what type of reply we are going to get.

The reason I showed you that is cause i was looking into that type of design in the last few days, and found it impressive.

I need to look more into it, because will make websites a snap.

It's nice and fast now, but how fast will it be when you have several thousand cars in the database?

It shouldn't change cause the page only pulls 25 max records at a time.
Even the dealers area only shows 30max, then you get the paging function at the bottom, to jump to the next pages.

We don't load records in the background whatsoever, so i don't see why it will change the page load.

The dealer area is a beauty cause it refreshes the records, without loading the entire page which saves bandwith and is fast.

One thing I did notice though, is that you don't have any mechanism for searching by model of car or price range...

yes indeed. our prices will be very low compare with other similar websites and i meant that - less then 1/4 of what they offer plus is has better options af how and what, including the latest (we hope) technology.

Also we are working in getting a web service in place as well, so keep an eye on it.

there is one. you need to go to the Car Sale section.

you can search by make, model, type and year from-to.
the price range is not really necessary cause most of the models are changing every 2-5 years.
we will be looking into a more advance search at a later stage.
