Tables are fine for the layout of tabular data when they're marked-up correctly. In fact, there's nothing worse than someone trying to be clever and marking-up tabular data using DIV's. That's just wrong.

Exactly. As I said, there's nothing wrong with using tables to mark up tabular data. That's what they're for.
