This is not public yet but its nearly finished so I thought I'd expose it to you lot...

La Peniche - Home

This is a CMS site (Mambo) and the main goal was to allow them to update it very easily.

Few of my own points:
* the text is from the client, I've given them feedback and I hope they'll fix up some parts - I feel like its not really selling the product in parts but just putting down terms and conditions..
* The photos in the banner aren't clear - like pulling teeth getting photos out of them so might have to do.

There's an SEO module for joomla / mambo which can give you nicer URIs

I thought that they were the nicer URLs. I've set it to use SEO friendly urls in the admin console.

What do nicer urls look like and do you know what the plugin is called?

I think there's more than one plugin available

Basically these plugns give you more semantic URIs, which is probably easier on both humans and bots alike

Still need to do some SEO stuff but waiting for final text from client.

Change the favicon

The layout of the text makes it quite hard to read:
La Peniche - The Restaurant

There's plenty of good content in there, but it needs to be broken up a bit and maybe given headings or something.

The menus confuse me...
Don't they cater for two people, or do you have to be a group?

Photos of the food might help.. Just googling randomly:
