Your javascript alert seem rather poor ... standard alerts can be replaced by much nicer ones

The text in it ... the following errors occurred ... is wrong in my opinion as well ... they aren't errors .. they are omissions .. "you've left out the following please fill them in" worded better of course

The page seemed incredibly slow to load (first time I loaded it)
First Time Buyers | First Time Buyers Mortgage | First Time Buyers Mortgages | First Time Buyers Mortgage Ireland | First Time Buyers Mortgages Ireland | First Time Buyers Guide - Euromortgage.ie (the left in firefox at any rate seems all on the left edge it could do with a bit of padding ...

Switch & save page is empty ? ... I assume thats intentional ? as in unfinished...

anyways thats all I can think of ...
htmltidy is telling me you've got 1 error and 57 warnings in your code

Quite a nice site

looks good.

1) title tag on front page looks very spammy
2) for pages like Investment Mortgage Rates | Irish Investment Mortgage Rates | Investment Mortgages Interest Rates | Investment Mortgage Interest Rate - Euromortgage.ie I would probably include when the figures were last updated.

Thanks for all the comments, they're really appreciated. I should point out that I'm not actually a coder and this is only my 3rd website that I've built. I use joomla to build my sites and have picked up a little php on the way, which allows me to tweak templates to the structure I want but most of the validation errors are probably from modules or components from other developers. The site is a little slow to load the first time round and I'll be looking at compressing some of the image files and probably cache the website as well which should improve performance. The page titles are a little long but from looking at the competition, if moertgages .ie can get away with it, I said I'd give it a try. Although in an ideal world (time and money) I'd like the sight to live up to coding design standards my main concern is that the site looks professional, is informative and brings in the eyeballs. So now I'm off on my link building campaign.

The site certinaly does look professional, it does take a bit to load but with the roll out of 8mps broadband on the horizon it might not be such a big problem.....I was a little annoyed, I ended up on the aib site within 10 seconds of the page loading but I presume that's the whole point of the site.....I wouldn't go the pay perclick route with the advertising, get on to a few marketing managers and sell the site as a branding exercise rather that a click generator...you'd be suprised the amount you can demand if your getting enough hits...could be a nice little earner without a lot of effort.... best of luck!
