| First of all I do like it ... once I get past the main page. The main page is a little bit too "busy" at the moment. If you had a strong logo it might help give it cohesion, but at the moment I'm not getting that While the virus / trojan news may appeal to a technical audience I see two issues with it: 1 - Someone who is very interested in virus alerts probably won't be in your target market 2 - The links are to an external site, so you're practically inviting people to click away from your site Making the 1850 number prominent works well (we noticed a distinct increase in calls when we put something similar prominently on our site) From an SEO perspective I'd move the "techies on wheels" to the end of the title tag on all pages Techies-on-Wheels: PC & Apple Mac Computer repairs, Wireless Networks, Virus & Spyware Removal, Data Transfer, Onsite Home & Office - Dublin, Ireland The radio buttons look a bit odd in Firefox You could make much better use of your ALT tags throughout I'm not sure about the navigation element titles. I know you are probably trying to get the "techie" idea into people's heads, but "techie questions" might not work as well as "FAQ" or "Frequently Asked Questions" The same could be said about "techie services"... The use of icons on the main page is nice and visual.

| i like it. Very clean. I'll try to make use of title tag for the links. For the Logo try a computer on wheels. A car wouldn't do any good to you. In IE the <li> padding for the left menu is too high. It makes the main content flow bellow the page. Techie Questions !!!? - I have to agree with blacknight there - FAQ sounds better. the Code: <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="cs" /> Code: <meta http-equiv="content-language" content="en" />

| try setting the content div to a smaller size like: Code: div#content {
width: 530px;
float: left;
}
Also it might help if you add clear:left Code: div#content {
width: 530px;
float: left;
clear:left;
}

| Very nice site. I saw few layout problems with the homepag - the copyright in the footer seemed to be forced to the RHS (probably a tag error) and the bottom of the 'Techies - onsite Service Packages' div wasn't alligning with the borders. I also notices that the two pages under Techie Services both have the same title - dupe titles on the same site *may* suffer a slight penalty from Google. Oh yeah, any reason why you have a <h2> tag in use on the homepage and not a <h1>? Nice looking site though

| First of all my apologies for not getting back to you all sooner. I started writing this reply yesterday and then stopped after realising the site was all over the place on Internet Explorer 6. I want to thank you all very much for spending your valuable time and experience reviewing the site and giving me honest valuable advice. It shows you all have great character to help people out they way you all do. I know that’s what forums are all about......I really appreciate your feedback. Blacknight: The virus and spyware news I put there as I felt it gave the site a bit of life – keeping on top of technical issues. 50% of our customers computer problems are virus/spyware related. I do agree that the home page is too busy and I will probably change one of the boxes ( news or Virus) to a graphic with a special offer. It also made good sense to put “techies-on-wheels” at the end of the title tag. SEO is a big grey area for me but I am trying to make this site as SEO friendly as I can. How can I make better use of the “Alt Tags”? I am also glad you pointed out the over use of techies on the menu bar. I have changed it a back and forwards a couple of times and I feel much better now leaving it out. It was a good idea changing questions to FAQ. This is why I am now learning to appreciate forums... Louie: Thanks very much for looking at the code. Yesterday I realised what a mess the site was in IE6. I have been playing around with different sizes for the content etc, so it will display correctly in all the different browsers....getting there slowly I built the site on a Mac but tested on a PC with firefox and IE7...assuming that if it worked on 6 it will work on 7. I learn’t that lesson. In relation to the Logo I am going to have to find a graphic designer to help out here. I would probably have used a computer on wheels if the business was just internet based but I need a strong logo as the van will be the main source of advertising and the wheels will all ready be on the car Richardo: Cheers for pointing out the IE6 problem....now I know why I have had too many phone calls this week. Regarding W3C validation, until you mentioned it I didn’t know anything about W3C...I still don’t. But I found a site yesterday with an online W3C mark-up validation service. I only fixed the homepage.....the rest I will do over the next few weeks. It may take a while to implement all the errors. RGH: As I mentioned above I am only learning about SEO. It will be my priority over the next couple of days to make sure all my title tags are different on each page so I can get a good ranking eventually, and stop giving goggle as much money as I do for adwords. Thanks again for all your help....I really appreciate it. Hope you all have a nice weekend. |

| the boxes on the right and the menu still breaks apart in IE6. You'll get it sorted I know. Try using different stylesheet based on the browser type IE or Firefox
