anyone care to critique my new site - not fully tested on apple and some of the lesser used browsers yet so if anyone finds and problems i'd appreciate if you mentioned it - same goes for spelling/grammar etc

I only visited the linked page, and spent about 5 seconds there. My initial reaction was that it was a bunch of photos, a reasonably cool banner graphic, and then a WHOLE bunch of text with no visual aid/supporting graphics.

Now, get this! I know you mentioned it was Web Design, it's mentioned in the link, it's mentioned a few times on the page, but it was only after I visited it (and had to revisit to confirm) that I realised it was a web design web site. My initial reaction was a personal home page with a photo album or 2.

Now, that's my first 5 second reaction. Nothing technical, and all very subjective. That reaction is yours for free

I don't think the colour scheme works well, Your site portfolio is a little poor in terms of design and layout.

I think the logo is a bit big and in your face... is it meant to be Kilkenny? A few links within the main body would not go amiss.
