Default Mortgages & Loans Ireland - opinions please

Hi guys,

there is some time for minor changes now or major changes in the future, so please take a look at mortgages & loans ireland first and then it's section of mortgage broker reviews. This project isn't a mortgage broker website, it's a place for mortgage seekers looking for the best deals by publishing their requirements anonymously. Lenders (mortgage brokers in general) can (anonymously) bid for the business and at the end of the day borrowers choose one of the offers using different criteria - for example best value for money or lowest monthly repayments. Additionally to attract more attention and add more value I've built the section where people can rate brokers they used/worked with in the past. There are more functionalities planned for the future, but official launch is scheduled on next Monday. Please let me know what you think of this project in terms of usability, general look & feel and it's future.

Thank you in advance,
Fairlight

Why is there a big gap of whitespace on the main page?

What browser and system are you using while watching it? Works fine with IE6, 7, 8, FF2, FF3, Chrome... I bet it's some FlashPlayer problem or JS incompatibility. More info please.

Thanks Black, I'll check how it looks like with browser shots... hope to find a solution quickly.

Just received screenshots from 12 different browsers and basically there is some serious issue with FF3 for Linux.
Comparing Firefox 3 for 3 different systems I got following results:
Firefox 3.0.1 Windows XP
Firefox 3.0 Mac OS X 10.5
Firefox 3.0.3 / ubuntu 8.04

so it looks like Linux version doesn't like JS or CSS in some place. Blacknight, can you please confirm that the last screenshot looks like what you see on your screen? Fonts are another issue I will have to fix but focus on that div covering content underneath central "welcome" panel.

This is a conservative layout that fits the subject perfectly.

Firefox, Opera and Chrome views are excellent.

Information and selections are easy to find.

If there is any bad news it's the economy not your site!
