What do people think of this one: Marketing jobs, Sales Jobs, Online Jobs, Design & Media Jobs and Recruitment Ireland, Dublin, Cork, Galway Initially I liked the boldness and simplicity of it - not sure though if it stands the test of time - gets a bit boring after while and you definately need to take an eye break afterwards.

Initially I liked it too, but I think it's missing something. It doesn't need to be entirely pink, to stamp it's identity, and reading white on pink is irritating after a while.

In terms of useability, off the top of my head there are a few things I wouldn't be keen on.
  • Displays only 5 results per page, I would want to see at least 10
  • Doesn't have a field for job location, I think Job Title, Salary and Location would be crucial for me
  • Dubious link titles on the top. Rather than 'Us' why not use the commonly used 'About' or even 'About Us'. 'Praise' should be 'Testimonials' IMHO - Web users can find and access these quicker. Basically if your menu items force people to think, rather than click intuitively, then you're doing something wrong.

Are you looking for a job dotwebs?

ha ha, ah no... perish the thought! I subscribed to their newsletter because I was attracted by the pink plus I like to remind myself of how lucky I am to be working for myself.

I don't mind the link titles so much, they've obviously cut the text on the less important ones to fit the space. I think the colour should change periodically or from page to page - or else offer a colour picker for the user to select.. might be an idea.

I think the design is grand. Bold and clean. The job search engine is poor though and filtering results based on specific skill sets isn't possible.

For example - most job seekers don't really want to filter results by company/agency type. Certainly not technical developers. It would be great if you could filter results based on individual skills. Let's say I'm looking for a position with one or a mixture of the following skills - Flash, actionscript, PHP, XHTML, accessibility, AJAX. Instead of filtering each keyword individually and display a like search for each, it seems to give less results than searching for each keyword individually.

This isn't meant as criticism because I have zero taste - but I dont like it. Sorry, but just my opinion. I like the idea and the design certainly is bold but I couldn't read it for very long.

EDit: Oooops - I thought you designed it!

But then again, I'm retired. A suggestion for a new name might be "Hate it and leave it!

Do I have to be the one to say:

It blares out at me and says, "Quick - get me out of here".

The color might be appealing to women fighting breast cancer.

The good news is that anyone looking for a job won't care.

The pink is very hard on the eye. I spent maybe a minute click around and went to a word document and nearly got a headache. I think funky is good but maybe not for all sites.

I think your paging is good, but again you are using a lot of the page up with it.

Search was fine and speed seemed decent.
