Default Browser based calling ...

I make quite alot of calls - mostly to landlines - from my web browser. I think it's really important to be able to type while talking.

The one click call feature from skype is really neat. Unfortunately skype call quality sucks from my computer. There's also a click-to-call feature for sip based programs that i used to use.

Does anyone place hands-free calls from their browser ?
What kind of quality do you get ?
What program/setup do you use ?

Thanks

Does no-one else find this to be a 'must-have' facility ?

To be able to jot down notes when talking to clients, or to keep records when making cold calls ?
