is anybody here a member of freelance ireland - i have been waiting for membership - does anybody know what the story is with it ? it looks active

Yep, with them about 2 years or so, It's gone downhill completely though so I wouldn't waste my time!

Sorry didn't realise you were the OP there is creative Ireland too, there's a lot of freelancers on there.

I joined Freelance Ireland a few years ago. I bid on a few jobs but never won any. I actually saw someone put a bid of "free" just to see if she would get picked for the job because she doubted there were any real jobs up there. I just had a look at it now and it still seems to be running.
