AdSense and phpBB Question

Hi guys, Is it ok to place AdSense in the header and footer of phpBB.
My concern is that it will be displaying on pages that don't have much content, or what's not accepted as content.

I have both OpenX and AdSense showing on phpBB, on a site I run. As you say, it can be a bit much for topics that don't have too many posts. You can see my integration at kinvara.com • Index page

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Focus on integrating it so that the CTR is better

Been messing around with the templates and I have it in two places on the main pages without using the header or footer. (might use them for a different ad merchant) Would appreciate and comments you have.
