Alternates to Adsense?

Has anybody tried alternates to adsense on their sites?

I've looked at a few of them over the last few months, but they don't seem to have much for Irish / European publishers

Yes, on one of the site I run www.diet.ie I used the ediet affiliate ads. Not that great, somebody has to sign up with them before they pay out. So after sending them tons of traffic with nothing in return, I went back to adsense.

Was going to give ad sonar a shot http://www.quigo.com/adsonarexchange.htm but some bad reports on some forums.
